Product Description:
GW9-10 Series high voltage disconnect switch is an electrical switch used in high voltage power systems to isolate or disconnect a section of the system from the rest of the system. It is designed to operate under high voltage and current conditions and is used primarily for maintenance, repair, or emergency situations.
The switch consists of a set of contacts that can be opened or closed by a mechanism, such as a manual or motorized actuator. When the switch is closed, it allows electrical current to flow through the system, while when it is open, the current is interrupted, and the system is effectively disconnected.
Application:
1 Substation isolation: In a substation, high voltage disconnector switches are used to disconnect transformers, circuit breakers, and other equipment from the power system for maintenance or repair.
2 Transmission line isolation: High voltage disconnector switches are used to isolate sections of a high voltage transmission line for maintenance, repair, or to prevent power flow during emergencies.
3 Capacitor bank switching: In power systems with capacitor banks, high voltage disconnector switches are used to disconnect the capacitor bank from the power system for maintenance or repair.
4 Load shedding: In case of an overload or other emergency situation, high voltage disconnector switches can be used to shed load by disconnecting certain sections of the power system.
5 Fault isolation: High voltage disconnector switches are used to isolate faulted sections of the power system to prevent damage to equipment and ensure continuity of power supply.

3.The wind pressure does not exceed 700Pa.(corresponding to 34m/s wind speed);
4.The earthquake intensity does not exceed 8 degrees;
5.The working situation is without frequent violent vibration;
6.The installation site of ordinary type isolator should be kept away form gas, smoke chemical deposition, salt-spray fog, dust
and other explosive and corrosive maters that affect seriously insulation and conduction capability of the isolator
7.Pollution-proof type isolator is applies to severe filthy conduction area, however, it shouldn't be any explosive matters and matters causing fire
